Hacking doesn't sound very legal in today's world because it is considered a crime but Ethical hacking is legalised as it works for the people. In short, Ethical hacking is an authorised attempt to gain access to a system in an unauthorised manner.
Q. What is the difference between White, Black and Grey hat hackers?
These 3 falls into different categories.
- White Hat Hacker is the one who hacks ethnically. They fetch vulnerabilities in the security of the system and get accessed only if permission is granted.
- Black Hat Hackers are the ones who get themselves engaged in cybercrime. They are also called crackers because they escape through the cracks in the computing system to violate rules.
- Grey hat hackers are the ones who do the correct thing using an unethical way. They may sometimes violate the norms of ethical hacking but they do not have any wrong intentions.
Q. Is Ethical Hacking legalised in India?
According to Section 84 that is, the Information Technology Act (2000) claims that it is legal to be a hacker only if he or she is appointed by the government in order to safeguard the public's interests. It also comes with a set of rules for the hacker to follow and abide by. So you can legally learn hacking by any online course.

Q. What software/tools would be needed for the training and how can I get them?
All the software/tools that you need for the training would be shared with you during the training as and when you need it.
Q. Do I need to have a laptop or desktop to do the training or can I do it on mobile too?
You can watch the videos and take quizzes & tests on any device including mobile. However, for assignments and practice, use of desktop or laptop is required.
Q. What system configuration is needed to do this training?
To do this training, you would need a computer with a minimum 1 GB ram and Windows 8 or later (64 bit).
Q. What are the prerequisites for the training?
There are no prerequisites for this training as it is of beginner level. Everything that you need to know about Ethical Hacking would be taught to you from scratch.

You can choose your preferred batch date while signing up for the training program and start accordingly.

As this is a purely online training program, you can choose to learn at any time of the day and for as much time as you want. We will recommend a pace to be followed throughout the program, but the actual timings and learning hours are in your hands.

You can choose between English or Hindi videos for the training depending on your preference. However, the text chapters, quizzes, assignments, and projects will be in English only.
Q. What is the training duration or what does 8 weeks access to the platform mean?
From your batch start date, you will have access to training's content (videos, quizzes, tests, assignments, projects etc.) in the platform for 8 weeks with-in which you should be able to complete your training.
Q. How much time should I spend on the training every day to be able to complete it in 8 weeks?
As this is a purely online training program, you can choose to spend as much time as you want per day and the more time you spend, sooner you would be able to complete the training. However, on an average, spending 1-2 hours per day should be sufficient for you to complete the training in 8 weeks. Some students also choose to devote more time on the weekends in case they are not able to give time on the weekdays.
Q. What if I'm not able to complete my training in 8 weeks?
Don't worry! If for some reason, you are not able to complete the training in 8 weeks; we would extend your access to the platform for sufficient duration (maximum upto another 8 weeks) so that you can complete it.
